JYP Entertainment's Publishing Team was founded in February 2008 by Chief Creative Officer J.Y. Park, with the goal of advancing and globalizing the music publishing industry. Through various auditions, we fairly discover emerging lyricists and composers. After signing writers, we actively pitch their demos to JYP Entertainment artists and a wide range of other artists, continuously creating opportunities for new works to be released. We then expand the use of released songs through promotion and licensing agreements so they can be utilized across remakes, advertising, dramas, films, and other media, while supporting and nurturing our writers' active careers at home and abroad with industry-leading publishing expertise. Centered around J.Y. Park, one of Asia's top producers, we work with renowned songwriters including Hong Jisang, Shim Eunji, Lee Woomin, Tommy Park, Kkuldangji, GARDEN, Lee Haesol, Versachoi, Kim Juhyung, hitbypitch, KASS, Trippy, selah, and JYP Entertainment artists who are active as singer-songwriters, cultivating top creative talent. We continuously strive to discover era-defining music and outstanding writers, foster a culture of belonging and collaboration, nurture the next generation of musicians and producers, and lead the music publishing industry as K-POP expands and musical exchange with musicians worldwide grows.
